today i was thinking about love. the love between a husband and wife, imparticularly. it sounds so scary to completely trust someone. trust that when they learn everything about me they will still love me. when they learn about my failures, my weaknesses, my fears, trusting that they will still love me the same. no matter what i say or do. right as i was thinking all of this, the lyric "Jesus knows our every weakness, take it to the Lord in prayer." Jesus. He knows everything anyone could ever know about me. He sees right through me to my heart, all my sin and uglyness. and yet, He chooses to continue to love me with the most beautiful love i could ever imagine. He loved me so much that He died on the cross and suffered for me. all because He loved me. that is amazing love. Jeremiah 31:3 says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love..."
